The PDF file format maintains consistent document
formatting across a wide variety of computer operating systems
and printers. Designated files on this site can be viewed in
PDF format provided that the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, version
5.0 or later, is installed on your local computer or the network.
This software is available free to download from the Adobe Web
site (www.adobe.com).
Contact your network administrator for help in downloading and
installing the Acrobat Reader.
Documents on this site with a link to an Adobe PDF may be viewed
and printed or saved for later viewing by clicking on the link,
which launches the Acrobat Reader. You may see a screen asking
whether you would like to Open the Document or Save the Document.
Choose Open the Document.
Note: If a screen appears telling you that there is no program
associated with the .pdf extension, you may not have the Acrobat
Reader software loaded on your computer or available on your
network.
The document you select will appear in the Acrobat window. With
Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers, version 4.0 or later,
the Acrobat window opens within your browser window and has its
own toolbar and icons. You can use the forward and back arrows
on the Acrobat toolbar or the scrollbar on the right to navigate
through the document. The Acrobat status bar at the bottom left
corner of the window indicates the page at which you are looking.
To print the entire document or selected pages, click on the
Acrobat toolbar's printer icon and make your selection. When
printing selected pages, refer to the page numbers appearing
in the bottom left corner of the Acrobat window and not to the
page numbers within the document itself.
