Viomedex has been producing the Infant nCPAP system for over 20 years, providing a cost-efficient solution for supporting infants with respiratory problems. Nasal Continuous Airway Pressure (nCPAP) systems offer a number of benefits to neonatal children, and Viomedex supply the system complete with accessories such as masks and prongs for ease of application.
nCPAP systems apply mild air pressure on a continuous basis, which ensures a patient’s airways remain open. CPAP is regularly used with infants who suffer respiratory distress syndrome, and for preterm infants whose lungs have not fully developed.
The Infant nCPAP offers a key benefit over ventilator CPAP systems by reducing the work required by the neonate to breathe. The work of breathing is reduced by established fluidic flip principles - the gas flip takes place in the generator section of the device.
Viomedex Infant nCPAP System Compatibility
